Morven Estate encourages all residents to respect one another's privacy while making responsible use of the security features available in Second Life.

Respecting Privacy

Please respect the privacy of neighboring residents at all times.

Residents should avoid:

• Entering private parcels without permission.

• Intentionally disturbing neighboring properties.

• Repeated unwanted visits after being asked to leave.

• Activities intended to harass or inconvenience other residents.

Courtesy and respect help create a welcoming community for everyone.

Security Systems

Residents may use security systems, including Security Orbs and parcel access controls, to help protect their property.

When configuring security systems, we recommend:

• Allowing visitors reasonable time to leave the parcel.

• Using clear warning messages before ejecting visitors.

• Reviewing access lists regularly.

• Avoiding unnecessarily aggressive security settings.

Properly configured security systems help maintain both privacy and a positive visitor experience.

Parcel Access

Residents are free to control access to their own parcels using the available Second Life parcel tools.

Depending on your needs, you may choose to:

• Allow public access.

• Restrict access to group members.

• Create a private parcel.

• Maintain a guest list for trusted visitors.

Please remember that access settings are your responsibility.

Audio, Media & Visual Courtesy

To ensure an enjoyable experience for neighboring residents, please use media and visual effects responsibly.

We encourage residents to:

• Keep music and media at reasonable levels.

• Avoid excessive flashing lights.

• Limit continuous particle effects.

• Consider how sounds and visual effects may affect nearby parcels.

Being mindful of your surroundings helps maintain a pleasant environment throughout the estate.

Neighbor Relations

Strong communities are built on communication and mutual respect.

If a disagreement arises, we encourage residents to discuss the issue politely before requesting estate assistance.

Most situations can be resolved quickly through friendly communication.

If additional help is needed, Morven Estate Support is always available.

Estate Assistance

If a privacy or security concern cannot be resolved between residents, Morven Estate may review the situation and provide assistance when appropriate.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

• Providing guidance.

• Contacting the parties involved.

• Investigating reported issues.

• Taking reasonable administrative action when necessary.

Each situation is reviewed individually to ensure a fair outcome.
